To the deans and canons of Windsor College. In money paid to them by the hands of John Chetewyn, esquire, with the advice and assent of the King's Council, viz., for the said Lord the King, 40 marks, and for the King of Denmark, 20l., as is ordered amongst other articles of the statutes of the most honourable order of the garter, viz., that every knight of the said order, according to this estate, on his first entrance, shall give a certain sum of money to the said Dean and Canons, viz., the King of England, 40 marks, and any foreign King, 20l., as in the said statutes more fully is contained. By writ, etc., 46l., 13s., 4d.
